S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner is a premier institute of agriculture education founded in pre-independent period by the erstwhile administrator of Jobner and a visionary personality, Thakur Rawal Narendra Singh Ji. Prior to this, his father Thakur Karan Singh was pioneer in establishing the education system philanthropically in Jobner with the inspiration of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj. The College of Agriculture at Jobner was established by late Rawal Narendra Singhji in July 1947 and it was the first institute for agriculture education in Rajasthan. In the memory of the founder and his father, the college was named as SKN (Sri Karan Narendra) College of Agriculture. The College is committed to achieve excellence in education, research and extension in Agriculture and enjoys the pride of being work place of luminaries like Dr. R.S. Paroda, Dr. Prem Nath, Dr. K.K.S. Chohan, Dr. A.S. Faroda, Dr. B.P. Srivastava, Dr. S.S. Acharya, Dr. R. Prasad, Dr. P.N. Jha, Dr. H. G. Singh, Dr. C. Prasad, Dr. A.M. Michael, Dr. T.C.
