Roles and Responsibilities of Assistant Director Student Welfare (ADSW), SKNCOA, Jobner

The ADSW is responsible to lessen the difficulties and look into the problems and grievances of the undergraduate and post graduate students of SKNCOA, Jobner. He/she is overall in-charge of the students in the matters of discipline, academic, co-curricular activities and general behavior in the SKNCOA. He/she is a advisor, philosopher and guide for the students.

Objectives:

· ADSW shall monitor essential day-to-day support required for academic and co-curricular activities of students through the advisors and mentorship program.

· ADSW will arrange for special care for students well-being through student section of the SKNCOA.

· ADSW will prepare, plan and execute programs for the holistic development of undergraduate and post graduate students.

· ADSW shall nominate student representatives to various college committees in consultation with Dean & Faculty Chairman.

· He/She shall make enable students to participate effectively in the students' related activities, viz., technical and cultural and social events.

· He/She shall work with the conveners of various committees, viz., grievance redressal, anti-ragging, Nasha mukt etc.

· He/She will keep in touch with the guardians/parents as and when required.

· ADSW shall arrange for the maintenance of students' discipline on campus.

· ADSW shall be actively associated to arrange special classes for the students related to career, higher education and various competitive examinations.

· ADSW shall be actively co-ordinate the medical facilities/camps in consultation with Chief Hostel Warden, NCC and NSS in-charges.

· The ADSW shall help to student section to arrange the disbursement of scholarships to the students of SKNCOA, Jobner.

· The ADSW shall make arrangement with Railway authorities for the issue of railway concessions to students during vacations for educational tours, and for students' participation in extracurricular activities and sports.

· The ADSW shall work for the welfare of the students as prescribed in the Regulations and also as directed by the Dean & Faculty Chairman and Vice-Chancellor from time to time.
